Pull an old caster out of the chair and measure the metal stem: a diameter of 11 mm and a length of 22 mm are the widely used European standard. This means the casters fit most chairs sold in Europe, such as Topstar, Steelcase or Nowy Styl.

Are the casters also suitable for carpet?

On high-pile carpet the hard-floor casters roll less easily. For pure carpeted floors there are special hard casters. On short-pile office carpet the PU casters usually work without any problems.

How do I replace the casters?

Simply pull the old caster straight down out of the chair with a little force. Insert the new caster into the socket and press firmly until it audibly clicks into place. No tools are required.
